4dr gsr or eg hatch?
Okay so I am making a big transition and want to know what’s the best for me I have come to theses choices 4dr gsr which I love or the eg hatch which I also love
. This is my question I have 7 to 8 thousand. I am looking for speed but I am going to want back seats no matter what. So no stripping unless its the trunk. My main question is can I get the 4dr gsr and build it for about the same price as the eg with engine swap and build(not sure on what engine trying to figure this out first). Can I get about the same amount of performance out of these? I honestly like the 4dr gsr better.

Four door gsr, you already have a good engine in. And theyre really nice. If your looking for a bigger car, but also have that extra power when you want it, go with that. The only obvious flaw would be the weight.
But if your looking to race alot and all performance, the eg hatch would be the obvious choice cuz of the weight and the body. Good for drag or great for autocross.
You can get a gsr around the 3500-4000 range bone stock. And have money to build the engine, get some suspension, and get a decent set of wheels.
Eg hatches go for about 3000 stock (kinda pricey) plus youll need an engine, tranny, halfshaft with axles, clutch, ecu, etc.... so it kinda adds up to more than the gsr. If your goin wit a eg hatch, best to just get a shell.
In the end, with all that money, you could just buy a shell of either one, and youll be able to do whatever you wish with it.

Clever my dear Watson, however OP wants back seats no matter what. Who the hell buys an EG and says "ya, the back seats are great."
EG's are a dime a dozen, and they hold their value because of rice and weight. If you need a track car there is no choice between the two...but I'd hope your not dumb enough to post a thread debating whether an EG would make a better track car then a DB, which would make no sense when it comes down to weight. If I was 16 again I'd think about the EG, but the GSR is the better of the two here.
So once again, we have a GSR, or an eg hatch....hmmmmm. HAHA

EG hatch with a swap hands down between these two. JDM B18C R prefer or SiR-G since USDM engines have high mileage. Back seat of an EG is roomier than DC. I'm not sure of DB since I don't own one. I would prefer a DC personally. Just not a fan of Integra four-doors.

Although not a fan of 4 doors at all, in this case, between the two, I would pick the GSR if for no other reason, [even if it is 4 door] IMO it is by far the better looking of the two. 94
I know a guy here in town with a G3 LS 4 door with a built GS-R engine, Type R transmission making a little over 320BHP, nothing he likes better then some numb-nut with a GS-R, ITR or some V8 wanting to race him, did I mention it is a sleeper, looks dead stock, lots of fun.

I'd go DB8 just because I have owned both and hands down the DB is more comfortable and way better looking. My car is lowered and has exhaust and doesn't draw near the amount of rice-tards wanting to race me, I guess its because its classified as more of a luxury vehicle. Also DB8s handle amazing with the right mods!!!
