buy a 5th gen hatch for under 3k and spend 4k on a good motor

All motor or Turbo, for 4k u can get a 200whp setup easy

Depends on which forum you post in. Since you posted in the EG, you are going to get the usual EG w/ swap. I would say go with a GSR. You'll thank yourself when you decide to sell it later on.

i would get a GSR. if not go with a hatch and put a b18c1 engine in there. either way i would stay loyal to the "GSR" engine.

depending on what you like get a EG or EK, but i see u like the EG, so get a EG for under 3k and get a full h22 swap for about 3k and spend the last 1k on either shock/springs OR I/H/E

you can find a shell for about 1,500 which leaves you 5,500 for a motor or what not. you could pick up a 96 and newer ls swap for about 2,000 and spend 3,500 on a nice turbo kit.

I would get a Fox Body 5.0 (LX). Rebuild the motor. Then flip the headers on obosite sides then do a twin turbo junkyard set up. Run crazy times and pocket like 2k.

if i was going to buy a car, i would rather buy something newer that looks good, and maybe a few less mods, rather than sacrifice looks for a couple bolt on parts
91 and below
