I know this is a hard questions to answer over a forum but here is where I am. 89 DX with a B18a1 swapped in. ys1 tranny, stock motor. obd0 converted to obd1 (from what I can tell everything is functioning right). While the motor is warming up it seems to respond quick when you give the throttle cable a tug under the hood. However, after is has warmed up you do the same and there is about a half a second lag before the motor responds. Other than that the motor seems to run great. Can anyone point me in the right direction with that might be causing this? ps, if you need a video I could get one.

 

Any ideas at all or things to check? I am in the dark on this one.

I thought it was.... Won't hurt to check again though. I have to replace the head gasket now so I should get a chance to check the motor out more. Spark plugs are a little dark though.
