Five Lug on 93 Accord LX????
Hey guys, quick few questions. I have a 93 CB7 four door with drum brakes. Im looking to convert to Five lug w disc brakes. Awhile back I got 98 99 front spindles n hub n calipers from a prelude from a buddy for nothing. read up a lil bit n said thos would bolt right on? is this true cause this would take care of the five lug in the front. n what all will I need for the rear disc, five lug for the rear? cant figuer it out. hmm. Thanks
this should steer you in the right direction...it's under the faq....its for a 5th gen, but 4th gen should be really close...http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...ead.php?t=1292
Sorry I just reread it. No it wont be plug and play. You have to bore out the LCA so that the prelude ball joint will sit correctly. You also will end up having weird camber issues due to unnatural angles. I'm not saying it doesn't work because tons of people have done it.. I'm just saying that I wouldn't do it.

I'm doing this on a 93 EX wagon right now, and I dont think the prelude front works, do a google search for something like "4th gen accord 5 lug conversion", a really good article will come up with a complete detailed parts list and everything. good luck, and make sure you get the 23T brackets for up front... i think some old acuras and preludes have them
I just finished the rear--> 92 Vigor rear control arms/knuckles, 97+ prelude (non-SH) hub with type R rotors and stock Vigor calipers...you WILL definitely need an .0082 shim between bearing and spindle nut, but this was easy, cheap, and quick. total parts cost was like 250 for complete setup.
