lug patterns?

ok...i think i have it figured out now...the 6 cylinder accords have the 5 lug wheels and the 4 cylinders have the 4 lug pattern...right?...is this for the extra weight the 6 cylinders carry?

something like that. And the Renault LeCars had a 3 lug setup. I'm not kiddin'.

I doubt it's for the extra weight of the car, it's more like a type-r has 5 lug and a gsr or ls have only 4, and the type-r weighs less than either one of those.

90ish - current 4 cyl's have 4x114.3 bolt pattern

All of the 5 lug V6 cars have 5x114.4 bolt pattern

I believe this is correct.

all accords up to 98 6cy, have the 4x114.3 New 6th gen v6 have 5x114.3

actually, honda used the same brakes that are on the ITR and the 5th gen Prelude...on the 6th gen accord V6...

so 1. its easier to leave em 5 lug
2. 5 lug is stronger
