Sorry if i missed the posted about this but my d15b8 bogging out when ever u first give it gas in gear and at 2 or 3 rpm...
cant find out wats wrong wanted to ask

 

Last tune up? CEL codes?

 

Could be the o2 sensor. Mines did the same. Felt like it was gonna die then all of a sudden took off.

 

No CEl on and the codes it is putting out r not listed

 

What are they? Post a video of the blinking CEL. Maybe you are not reading them correctly.

 

i am saying that cuz i took it in to the shop and thats wat they told me i did not see it

 

Click the CEL link in my signature and learn to pull the codes yourself.

Any info on your issue? My VX is doing the same thing. No CELs but everything is pointing to the o2 sensor, or the EGR system being clogged. Ron, do you have any info on how to clean out the EGR system and lines?

Bogging....fuel or spark. Check the fuel filter and spark plugs and replace them if need to.

 

I was having the same problems. I replaced Dizzy Got a accel cap+rotor, Then accel wires, new denso plugs and new fuel pump.. Still didnt fix problem So i checked my ecu and swapped it over 2 a well known CRAPPY D15b8 ecu And it solved problem. Also found out since i have the y7 head on the b7 block that i had timing off a little lol Cleared it RIGHT Up.. It was a combination of the 2,. I did them at the same time but after i put ecu in i lost ALOT of power cuz its made for a 8valve motor not the 16 valve with bigger injectors. So i swapped back to old ecu and it Messed up Bad, bogging alot and stuff so i know it was the ecu, I opened it up and on the back side some1 had Solderd them selfs and ruining it all and i went to have it fixed and they said its cracked thru the mother board Kids dont need to mess withstuff if they dont know what there doing lol. hope this helps if u havnt already fixed the problem. next on my list...
