. Go to a muffler shop and they will bend you a pipe and weld it up....
If you go with an ES oval muffler, you want everything to match its 2.25 diameter. Don't go with a 2.5 diameter stuff unless you're planning on doing some serious mods (internals and/or forced induction).
Get a header for the GSR with a 2.25" outlet (DC makes a good 4-1 which is basically a replica of the stock ITR unit, but modified with GSR exhaust flanges).
Then get a high-flowing 2.25" cat (don't risk getting caught w/o a cat in california!!). I'd recommend a resonator to go with the ES oval if you don't want the PO-POs to harass/ticket you.
A decent muffler shop can then mandrel bend and weld some 2.25" piping to assemble the full cat-back exhaust with your supplied ES oval and resonator. People with domestics have been getting custom exhaust work done for decades so its a very straightforward deal.

Dont listen to this guy. Even with a basic set-up(intake, exhaust) you'd want a 2.5 inch exhaust pipe. 2.25 is stock whodie. Go to a muffler shop and get a custom mandrel bent 2.5 piping with a nice big fat riceboy muffler at the end.

btw, how much on average would it cost to have a muffler shop do this for me?
