Synchrotech and Gearspeed are two different companies with different owners and different products. I worked at Gearspeed as the GM from 2002-2008 when I left to start my own company - Synchrotech. Gearspeed started back in the high performance market recently, selling their spray coated synchros but they are not the same as the full carbon synchros that we have developed and sell at Synchrotech.
Oh my bad, someone told me u guys are the same
I bought synchro techs synchros, b16 tranny is fine but gsr grinded one gear. Called them up and they sent a new one no questions asked, now no grinds. Top notch

Jut curious as the rebuild kits list several trans for the same part. I thought the CTR and ITR were dual syncroed for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th or something like that?

The 1994-2001 B series GSR, ITR, CTR, and B16A hydro all use the same synchros with a dual cone only on 2nd. 1/3/4/5/R are all single cone.
The only dual-cone synchro on a B-series is the 2nd gear of 92-93 GSR, 94-01 GSR/ITR/CTR/B16. Not sure what the CR-V has. I've had two apart, but didn't tear the gear stack down and haven't looked at any Honda part schematics of it.
Albin's billet synchro gearset w/final drive, stock LS 5th, ITR diff, Synchrotech carbon synchro's, Speedfactory scha.
car made 858whp@42psi spinning tire. I run it at the track @ 48+psi. street driven, and sometimes driven to the track.
Going on my second season with this setup. so far so good.

I just built a fresh GSR trans, using Gear Speed Carbon coated synchros. I was shifting at 9800 rpms, made 5 passes, didn't mis shift once! Cody took good care of me, I'm very happy with their product. I was trapping 151 mph, and using Honda MTF. I change the MTF after every event.

I bought a tranny frmom S.T. about 1.5 years ago, and i bet i have over 50 passes on it at 650 hp it has never grinded or anything like the old stock synchro tanny i started with. I just recently ripped it apart to install a cuff finally lol, and the gears all look brand new and there wasnt anything in the bottom at the maget either. I am o the carbon synchro's, and use royal purple synchromech
Well syncros got here fast. Went to put it back together and found the good spare 3-4 slider I have was for a b16. So I have a new ls one coming from Dave.
