Ugh, '92 Civic VX won't start or crank
Tried to start it up this morning to take it to a shop to fix the other issues on it, but won't even crank at all. It's for the D15Z1 engine. I'm guessing it's the starter, but could the distributor also cause it as well?
If it's manual, can you push start the car?
If you run hot wires directly from the battery (+) terminal to the two starter terminals, does the starter now crank?
Checked the battery, jumpstarted it but still no go.
I would push start the car but my driveway is too steep to push it back up in case it doesn't start up.
My guess is the starter itself, so I'm just going to pick up a used one locally for cheap.
