Need advice on 93 Prelude
I just got this car, and drove it all day yesterday. I got in it this morning and it started and I went to work. I got almost there and the car quit. I had it towed, and found out that the I guess the 15 amp fuse blown and the car will not start. I replaced the fuse, and soon as you try to start it, it blows. We had checked the ignition, and the radio, but everything works, except when you start it up the fuse blows. Can anyone help me or give me and idea of what to do...

Ya know what...I have taken everything off...lights.. radio..tail lights..the ignition switch..head lights..and I still can not find the problem with the car..it keeps blowing the ECU..there are 2 ECU fuses and it is only blowing one..the one that starts the car...when everything cause connected..the ECU blew on start up..but the day before nothing was wrong with the car..I am lost..I know there is a short circuit..but i am really ill...I have after market radio..head lights..cool air intake..exhaust..tail lights..but i put the originals back on..I have the H23 motor..I do not know the generation,,i am still lost on that..this is my first Prelude..and wow I am ready to scrap it already
92-96 is the 4th generation ... and best IMO. <-- Note ... IMO.
take pics of the engine bay, left [passenger] side should be most important.

did you take the taillight bulbs out or the actual taillights? it may be something else, but i wouldn't be surprised if the wiring to your aftermarket taillights is jacked. i'd take off the whole unit and check to see that everything is insulated.
I replaced the bulb in the tail lights..but the after markets are in my trunk..it might be ..ill try it..I heard if I go through one fuse at a time I will find my problem...is this the right way to do it?
Sounds like you already narrowed it down to 1 fuse. Check out the wiring diagram in the manual to see everything connected to that fuse. and find where the wires are exposed. That's how I'd go about it..
if the ecu fuse is blowing the it has to be a short in that circuit. so find the ecu, there will be a lot of wires coming from it but follow them and look for anywere a wire looks like its been rubbing on something and when you find an exposed wire that could be touching any metal on the car and tape it up.
take the bulb out, and try to start the car.
that'll narrow it down to see if you've done anything that shorted something since you claim that nothing changed and this problem came out of the blue. If the tailight bulb wasn't the issue, then under what conditions did the issue arise? Was it rainy, hot, etc.
