i searched this site and google, and youtube, using keywords (window, glass, door, install, installing, installation, how to, steps, etc...), and could'nt find any good step-by-step instructions or how-tos ?
i have helms manual, but really i need just a little more detail, it showed the door panel parts blown up and how to take panel off, but it would be helpfull if i saw exactly how to do steps for installing a window in and positioning it and all that, so i can see if i have to pay someone to do it or if i can do myself, it seems easy but there might be some tricky parts that i don't know about after seeing a write-up or video.
so anyone have a link or something to a good write-up or step-by-step how-to on install window on side door on 90 crx ???
anything would help,
thanks

I did it once and it was pretty simple. Just remove the door panel and roll the window down to the point where the bolts of the window can be accessed. Unscrew em and drop in the new glass and tighten them up.
Should be done.

what about lining it all up so its in the exact edge of the weather stripping, or adjusting the window regulator, and stuff like that, having to do with the "fitment" of it,
is there any other stuff involved to do that ?

not really lol i just did this on my hatch.. its much easier on a crx though since you dont have to take off the seatbelt motor on a crx.. i did exactly what schueytenten said and rolled down the window theres two small holes for the ten millitmeter bolts and pull it out i loosened the track first so it was a little easier to get in and out.. theres a little room on the bolt holes for adjustment but mine went in smoothly the first time

alright thanks,
i am feeling more confortable that i can do it now,
just one question i don't know about before i can start,
i was told you need to use glue or silicone adhesive where the bottom window edge goes into those 2 metal brackets with the mount holes, first of all do you know if that is correct ? and if so, then would you know if there is a particular type of stuff your supposed to use to adhere it into the brackets ??, like just plain clear silicone ? goop? etc?
thnx

i was trying to brainstorm places i can go out in public to work on my car freely with no problems and nobody distracting me, and not any nosey people staring at me wondering what i'm doing and stuff...
its been 100 degrees here in dallas, seems better to work on stuff in the evening or just late at night, but unfortunately i don't have a garage to work on it in, i live in an apartment thats built into a 2 story house and two units are below me, i park along the curb on the side of the house.
so its like i don't have somewhere to work on my car, like to get tools out and open the doors and get into it, theres a carport here for 2 cars but the other 2 units are assigned to them since they both are on the bottom and have gates that go out to it.
my parents used to live here and i just used to go there and work in the garage, and i had couple friends with garages i was able to use but they moved,
i can use the carport to work on my car if its empty, but usually its occuppied in daytime and at night when it usually has one space empty i could mess with car but everything makes so much noise and feel like i'm bothering the neighbors and this dog keeps barking at every little sound i make, plus the vehicle usually filling one side of the carport is a Denali SUV, and it makes where my car is so close to his, so don't have much room to do stuff and have to worry about scratching his vehicle etc...
i was thinking maybe a car wash, the ones with the seperate stalls, but only if its not the busy time of the day where people are waiting to use one of them, or a parking garage, like i am a member of 24 hour fitness, and it has a parking garage at the building its in and has a couple levels and no security patrolling, or if they have really really cheap storage units (like $20 a month), then that would be cool to go there and put car in and use to work on it, or i wonder if theres a type of place thats like a storage unit, but without the monthly continous contract thing, just like where you can pay a one time fee to use it, paying per day ??, so pay like $10 or $15 for one whole day and its the size of a single car garage about that you can pull into and has light and a door to close or leave open.
or i was just thinking to find like an open field or dirt road that goes into a foresty area where you can park on dirt ground but under shady trees and not around people or anything so nobody could say anything or kick me out.
sorry i ranted on so long, i know it sounds pretty stupid to some, but i was just thinking of some ideas, if you have any ideas on places then let me know
