Nobody can figure this out.....
iv been tryin to figure this out for a lil over a month now iv replaced the ecu the dizzy main relay plugs wires and checked the timing..... its getting real stressful

Again, it must be some critical sensor or internal problem for the ecu to run in limp mode. Check the codes!
Might have switched MAP and TPS plugs or something. Maybe using wrong ECU. Vtec solenoid not hooked up?
Provide more info on the car. Is it anyhow modified?

ok well it started when i got on one night and it just bogged down like it was going to die.. i havent unpluged anything... its the right ecu still for a b18 a1 obd1 non Vtec... mods just the chipped ecu and full cat back exhaust
As mentioned, check for codes.
You said, "iv replaced the ecu the dizzy main relay plugs wires and checked the timing", have you checked valve timing, could be you skipped a tooth when you "got on it". 94

this may or may not help....sammmmeee exact thing happend to my gsr...same situation too.... the answer is clean there is some sensor or something internallly wrong with ur motor thats throwing a specific code, that specific code will puts ur motor in limp mode, for pretection...take off ur intake manifold and throttle body inspect, clean, reassembly. when i did this my car was fine, lemme kno!!
yea the cel was on before the car runs rich.. and it did skip a tooth but i put it back into time and tightend the belt back.. And cmwalker that dose sound reasonable i might try that its just getting so irritating
So you are running a chipped P06 I'm assuming right? With a map for a non-vtec motor? If you were running a chipped p28 that is the problem. Vtec ecu trying to run a non-vtec motor will probably run pig rich and throw all sorts of codes considering it will be looking for a vtec solenoid among other things...
Oh I see your still OBD0.
Ok here's a list of things to check
-Temp sensor, make sure its plugged in and is not corroded(make sure its a good connection)
-Make sure the wires to your ecu plugs ALL have good solid connections and aren't corroded
-Make sure your O2 sensor is good
-Check for good fuel pressure. Should be around 45psi
-Check the TPS
-Honestly though...3500rpm redline is classic limp mode from multiple sensor failures
-Check the CEL. It might just tell you what sensors are failing. I mean thats only what its designed to do.
