Alright, so my car is a 89 crx si. has been bar'd for a 1990 Acura Integra B18A1 engine.
I was wondering if i could simply use a B18B1 engine and still pass smog using all of my OBD0 accessories.
I don't really want to go through the hassle of getting the car bar'd again for a OBD1 B18B1 as i see no huge accomplishment for it.

Yes you can. Since your car is now designated for a 1.8L Honda/Acura motor (whatever you choose to call it). My car is bar'ed with the older sticker (had a 90 b18a1 when I bar'ed it) which only states 1.8L motor. I just recently smogged my car with a b18b1.
Incorrect, wherever you got your smogged done wasn't very smart, doesn't care or doesn't know what he's doing. Try taking to the REF station, or if you ran into a test only center where the guy actually looks up the year model, and then check your engine code. When they popped you for a different engine than the sticker you got BAR'ed for, man you'll be in serious trouble.
