Icon3 Sensor doesn't detect trunk closed.

Hi guys I purchased a trunk popper recently and the guy who installed it did a bad job. After the installation my dash keeps showing my trunk is open when it is closed. As a result I the light in my trunk stays lit and keeps draining battery 24 hours of the day. My car dies every night and I need help.. Does anyone have some suggestions that can help me fix my issue. I found this guy on craigslist so contacting him is not an option. He's been ignoring my calls.

Take off the inner panel for the trunk

Unplug the wire harness that goes to the trunk latch.

This will solve your battery problems for now

Take out all the screws that hold the plastic panel to the inside of the trunk

and there should be like 4 wires or something going to the latch that holds the trunk down..

unplug them

Are you talking about the light to the side of the trunk . I removed that harness. How many more do I have to remove. The plastic price you talk about is it the one near the trunk latch?
