Default H22A S-Spec Info

ok guys im finally done with my swap into my 93 prelude s. some things that might help people out. the h22a s spec (and type s) say they are made in 95 but they are put in the 97 prelude thats obd2.

Obd2:
Internal Coil dizzy
Must hook up the sensors on the oil pump

Obd1 (my setup and what you need to do if your obd1):
External Coil dizzy (dont have to hook up the sensors)

if you want to run the internal dizzy you have to wire in those sensors which is a pain in the *** and not worth your time just get an obd1 dizzy with and external coil (from a 95 prelude vtec)

Nice.

This is what I would do is get a OBD1 H22 distributor whether it's external or internal depends on your setup and a OBD1 Chip ECU(H22 basemap) w/ jumper harness on the Type S engine, and you should be good to go; since, the OBD1 distributor will be a plug and play into your OBD1 engine harness and while using the OBD1 ECU, it'll be getting signals from the CKP sensor inside the distributor. This right here I believe will by-pass the CKP sensor on the oil pump housing on the OBD2 engines and only focus on the CKP inside the OBD1 distributor if ppl go this route.
