honda jdm b18c itr-header question
i have been trying to wrap up everything with my jdm itr swap , one thing Ive been kind of avoiding is the exhaust. now when i first dropped the itr swap in my ek i went and bought a 2.5" piping and told the muffler shop to go to work but they told me that my header was 2.75" and they didn't have anything so i went somewhere else and they told me the same thing so i just had them rig it up so that at least i don't have leaks and o2 don't fowl. now i have been looking and am i the only one out there with a 2.75" outlet ?!?! lol....ill mesaure it and post pics tongiht....i just want a confermation i guess before i buy this high dollar flange...and if im not the only one out there dose anyone know a cheaper place to get one?

I doubt it is 2.75. the id is 2.5 but with a doungnut gasket it will make it appear much larger for a muffler shop to get a flange for it. I had similar issue. My advice order the HT sponsor TDI test pipe for like 75 shipped. You can get a cat welded in if u like. Most muffler shops are fools.
Pull the cat and then the donut gasket off the header. Then measure the outlet. IT should be 2.5" outer diameter where the donut gasket sits. The flange you should need for your new cat or exhaust is a 2.5" from blox racing. IT's a ball flange to smash against the donut gasket while still allowing the exhaust to flex when the motor moves around
The OD is about 2.5" on the JDM 4-1, now I have worries when I go to put on the TODA 4-2-1 because the ID is 2.5" and my test pipe section was made to fit perfectly with the stock stuff. Now I feel like I am bottle necking my exhaust because the ID is 2.5" and the ID of the rest of my exhaust piping is 2.3".
