Hey guys im working on a ef at the moment.
I pulled out the vtec head though it was off an eg.

In the front says p2j-5 and on the right side stamped the number 00

Is it off an y8?
What year?
Will it percectly sit on my d16z6 block?
Is it better than a z6?

I need to know exacly cause my head is no good and wanna
Salvage this posssible y8.

I checked the web but only shows for
P2j-5 99 ect

But nothing off an 00.

Info plzz???

 

it says its a y8.. what more do u want to know? does it have a vtec solenoid and knock sensor its definitely a y8 head as the z6 has no knock sensor or a spot for one. nothing changed in 99-00 so its the same even if its not a 99.
