Default d16z6 NO START starter prob

long story short haha, my d16 isnt firing. i have full power all around, like all my lights are on and i get a good ding... so no battery prob. i checked all the wires on the starter and starter selonoid for loosies. when i turn the key all the way over i get NOTHING. no clicks or turns of the starter. i was wondering if anyone could help me with testing this? i knocked around the starter a lil bit to see if i had a bad bushing and it maybe locked up. but nothing. how can i test my selonoid?

nope, basically all the special tools i have is for head gasket job. BUT. i have just now tried ARCing my solenoid, i got no turn from my starter at all. is this a confirmation that my starter is locked up? i turned the key over and took the covers off of the main power wire going to my solenoid and the cover off the other nut that looks exactly the same. and i arc'd them. absolutely nothing happening.

You live by a harbor freight? They have a DMM on sale for $2.99. You will most likely need one to continue testing. Test for voltage at the soleoid and the motor. You can also have the starter tested at Orielly/Autozone.

ok i have fixed the problem. after doing the above stated i noticed that the top switch on the very top of the clutch was not being engaged properly after studying it. there is a lock nut that u can loosen and adjust this switch forward or backwards.
