Default Jump car at starter

My daughter has a 92 accord that quit starting with the key about 6 months ago. However if you put the ignition switch in the run position it will jump off at the starter using two screwdrivers. It will also shut off using the key.Where should I start looking to correct this for her? Thanks

I agree with the other two about the ignition switch.

Test the switch, if the power is coming out and not getting to the starter then something is preventing it.....manual or auto trans.

Use voltage drops. Sure, it could be the ignition switch. But, it could also be a faulty starter solenoid. Voltage drops are pretty cheap and can save money.
