Default B series 97 Civic

1997 Honda Civic EX
I got this car as a shell, and I do have a lot of time and money into it. Please keep your negative comments out of the thread. Thanks.

1997 Honda Civic EX
-274k on the body. very little to no rust. just little tiny pin size bubbles.

Engine
-B20z2 with B16 head. not even 500 miles on it.
- ARP head studs
- Cometic Gaskets
- Innovative Mounts and Linkage
- OEM Rods, Rings, and Bearings. (was told by the guy i got it off of)
- Chipped ECU off of Phearable
- Obd2a - Obd1 Ecu Harness.
- Alternator, Injectors, and Dizzy are all obd1.
- EBay Header 4-1
- Apexi WS2 Catback.
-B16a2 transmission. was told 120k on it. 3rd grinds and 5th pops out. I was told it was perfect when i had purchased it.
- AASCO 9 pound racing flywheel with replaceable surface.
- Exedy OEM Replacement Clutch.

Interior
- SI Front and Rear Seats
- Skunk 2 Weighted ****
- 3" Shifter Extender
- Auto CRV Cluster
- JDM/OEM Coin Pocket
- CTR Climate Control Bezel. Not a knockoff. This is a real OEM Honda part.
- OEM Honda Radio Blockoff
- NRG Short Hub and Quick Release
- Momo woodgrain made in October 1991.
-Kenwood CD Player moved down by the cupholder.

Exterior
- OEM Honda Hood Bra
- OEM Honda & VTEC Badges on trunk
- SI Spoiler
- OEM Sunroof Visor
- OEM 99-00 Tail lights
- Since I've had it I have replaced the hood, both fenders, both bumpers, and the trunklid. (still have beat up fenders and wingless trunk)
- 99-00 Hubcaps

Suspension
- Front KYB Gr2 struts.
- Ground Controls. They have a coil cut off of them. They still ride smooth. I got them like this.

Now for the bad.
- If its not started for a couple days, you have to prime it a few times before itll start. Then it dies, and you have to keep doing it. idk what the problem is with it.
- The car is a 97 so the its got dings on the quarters. Not horrible by no means.
- The interior needs a good cleaning.
- Rear Tires are shot.
- The front glass is cracked and tinted. looks tacky IMO
- The rear tint is bubbled.
- Transmission issue as stated above.

As far as I remember, thats the only issues with the car. Being 100% honest about the car. I am trying to build my credit for my future, so I am trying to get a down payment on another car. If I do not sell it within a month or so, I MAY part out if I get my asking prices. Also i have a spare valve cover to throw in.

With all that being said, I am asking $4500 OBO.
Only trades I would be interested in are newer hondas, bmws, vw's, and subarus. Obviously with cash on my end.

The best way to get ahold of me is my cell. 812-767-2953
Or just shoot me a pm on here. not really on here much though.

Thanks, Kasey

I had that problem too. Never figured out what was wrong with it. Weird...

pull the vaccum line off of your FPR, if it has or smells like fuel chances are it's got a ruptured or leaky diaphram
