how can u be asking over and over if this is your first post? Please don't "apologize" for posting a beaten to death question...just don't do it.

Bug the forced induction forum next time.

And for the nibblenuts that keep saying the search feature doesn't work:

Just go with the JRSC. Less maintenence, more idiot proof, it'll take care of most of the ricers on the road.

in the long run i think u will be either really upset and left feeling empty with a JSRC or u will be happy u dont have too many problems.

turbo u will have almost limitless potential (if built up right) but higer maintnance costs can be associated

ask in the forced induction forumn........but first od a search

I concur. The car was designed to run N/A, with a rather high specific output per liter (at least at the time of its introduction). If you keep the motor N/A and take care of it a little, it will serve you well for many, many miles. I kinda think that its a little pointless to go F/I on a car of this genre, being high specific output, FWD, etc. If you have your heart set on a turbo, I really think you bought the wrong car. You would go a lot faster for cheaper in a diamondstar or some other car that comes with a factory turbo, not to mention be more reliable.

i think that if you are not going for insane power then just build up the motor get higher compresioned pistons eagle or jg. build the valve train. and bottom end with rods you could gt a really decent ly fast mid to lower 11's car there are lots around here in cali with that set up plus your engine will last longer than it would while running boost. and will cost less. cause you haveto bulet proof your engine to really run a turbo right.

Uhhh.. I hope you aren't saying he could get a low 11 second ALL-MOTOR car. Having a streetable car anywhere near 11's all-motor is damn near impossible, especially in an Integra body and without insane amounts of work. It would also cost a hell of a lot more than going turbo.

Not to mention the fact that an all-motor car will last no longer than a turbo one. But you don't have to bulletproof a turbo motor to run it right. Jinxproof's 10 second civic had STOCK sleeves, disproving the myth that you have to have iron sleeves to run high boost.

Also, Eagle doesn't make pistons. heh.

Please stop misinforming people!

no but it is smart to run lower compresion that is what i was getting at and having stronger rods, pistons and vavle train to handle higher rpm would out last quite longer than a turbo all that heat from the turbo and high boost without proper management will shorten the life of your engine for sure. and i didnt say he would have a street able car running 11's just saying what can be acomplished with internals that is all, but you must admit that it would be wise to strengthn the bottom end witch would cost you the same amount as just upping compresion and strengthening internals

turbo
TURBO. why? because JRSC aint nothing compared to a turbocharged integ. horsepower potential is definitely there and youll love boost. N/A requires alot of money to go fast... just like a turbo, so i wouldnt consider it an advantage at all. ask the guys in the forced induction forum. oh.. by the way, youre talkin to one.

JRSC is way better than turbo in anything except drag racing, but I guess it is assumed most people on H-T only want to go fast in a straight line..

Although, the JRSC is better than most people here give it credit for, IMO. I've seen plenty of S/C'd cars in the 12's, on a modest amount of boost.

I think the Jackson would be better in this case because of less/cheaper maintenance, and better reliability.
