Icon2 Vibration after putting into park or putting into reverse

My 2001 Honda Civic (boy have I had problems with her) vibrates when put my car into reverse after starting it. When I put it into park after driving, it vibrates. It's pretty hard. Let me know what ya think.

It doesn't vibrate in drive at all.

Start by checking motor mounts. The front and back ones seem to be the first to go.

The mounts are certainly a good place to start looking. In addition to lazlong's input...

Symptom: Engine Idle Vibration

Probable Cause(s):
- Low ATF level
- Shift solenoid valve A defective
- A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A defective
- Drive plate defective or transmission misassembled
- Engine output low, low idle speed
- Torque converter clutch piston defective
- ATF pump worn or binding
- Lock-up shift valve defective
- Misadjusted engine mounts

Notes:
- Set idle RPM in gear to the specified idle speed. If still no good, adjust the engine mounts.
- Check the ATF level, and check the ATF cooler lines for leakage and loose connections. If necessary, clean the ATF cooler lines.
- Check the D indicator, and check for loose connectors. Inspect the shift solenoid valve filter/gasket, and the shift solenoid valve A for seizure.
- Inspect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve filter/gasket for wear and damage. If the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A is stuck, inspect the CPC valve.

On a side note: You should buy one of these - http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...C01&itemtype=N

If you don't want to buy a new one, check eBay or craigslist for a used one.

I have a manuel.
Just easier for someone to tell me then try to read it while a four year old tries to rip it out of my hands...
harder than that is trying to figure things out while he is bouncing off the walls

thanks for all the help. I will be sure to get on that ASAP.
