if i switch out my dx cluster for an ex one, Will the tach. work or does that involve extra wiring?

it works, i did it. also i swapped the speedo part over to the ex cluster to keep the stock odometer mileage, it was really easy

Hey guys,
I just got a ex cluster for my ek so i could have a tach, went to swap em out and there's no green plug for the tach that I can see to plug into the ex cluster. Everyone in here said it's plug n play, but I don't have the tach plug on the dash harness.

Anyone else run into this issue?

 

that green plug is for the cruise control, dx=no cruise so it doesnt affect the tach in any way

Can I use the dash harness from an automatic ex and hook up the cruise in the manual 98 DX hatch? I just want to know if it will work out cause I'm planning of getting the oem cruise control. Thanks.
