Hey HT, so before I go into the problem I'll briefly describe my setup:
'89 civic DX hatch
JDM B16A OBD0 with USDM YS1 trans
chipped PR3 ECU that eliminates knock sensor and primary O2
CAI, no-name exhaust & header
fully built/ported/polished head milled .020", CTR cams, dual springs, ti-retainers, ferrea valves
stock bottom end
VAFC neo
Ok, so I just had my buddy replace my head gasket and after everything got put back together my ECU started throwing codes 1 & 14 (primary O2 sensor, & IAC valve sensor). The car runs like a champ, idles fine, doesn't smoke or have any abnormal symptoms. My buddy traced all the wiring to/from the IAC sensor and its all good. So my question is why would my ECU all of a sudden throw the code for the primary O2 sensor when these setups don't even have that O2 sensor? And why would the IAC sensor be throwing a code if all we did was unplug it and plug it back in....especially if it isn't idling funny? We tried resetting the battery a couple times with no luck. I've never had either of these codes thrown, so I have no idea if the IAC sensor would affect how it runs or not? And I don't know why the primary O2 code would be thrown since my chip is programmed to bypass it? ANY help would REALLLLLLLY be appreciated
