Default B18a swap issues

I'm In the process of try to get my crx si on the road but there's always something wrong that pops up...like today as I was working on it with some other people.we tried to start it up but no luck.it turns over and has spark but just won't starts up.since we couldn't get it to start we decided to push start it.As we were about to push start it,I shift to second gear while my foot was on the clutch peddle, and gave the people pushing the car the signal to push, but the car didn't want to budge or move even if I have my foot on the clutch.the only the car moves is when it's in neutral.....but when it's in gear and I have my foot on the clutch it won't move at all....anybody help me with ideas of what it could be.

Adjust the clutch cable. It could be to loose and not releasing.
