Exhaust Tailpipe problem?
I noticed that my car sounded louder then it used too... My 97 civic dx hatch is completely stock. I think I found the problem.
It's so rusty, the tailpipe looks like it's about to fall off. Could I just pull this off and leave it with just a hole? Or do I have to get a new one immediately?

depends where you live. you can get a ticket for being loud.
jus rip it off.
or you can get that thermo foil tape and patch it.
or jb weld it.
or jus buy a new $30 muffler

if you have $ and want quiet get a hushpower muffler.
if you dont have $ get a summit racing replacement muffler.
if you live in iowas jus cut the muffler off
