You do not need the scatter sheild you have a billett bell housing thats way stronger then any scatter sheild you can even buy.

Yea I spoke to them at PRI 2 years back and I suggested it, as I'm sure many have. But they'd have to eat the cost to go have one destroyed and they didn't really like that idea. At least that's what I was told. It would be a great idea though that's for sure.

LMFAO!! Heard that 2 weeks ago at my local track!! 2 wino's surrounding my car while im in the lanes flaging me that my tires were flat. I almost ran them over!

 

we ran the bellhousing for two years without them asking. but technically yes you need one.

 

How the tech know when is sfi cuz the golden eagle one it doesn't have a tag saying that it's sfi ????or u can make ur own

 

It doesn't have to be. No sanctioning body so no set rules.

the liberty is not sfi
it not to keep the oil in it's to keep the clutch & flywheel in and they have to be sfi

This is only in competition right? I mean my beater runs faster than that and it doesn't have any safety equipment at all.

But I did re-read the other post. Just need a steel plate. That's not too bad. I'd rather not have it but I guess we'll see.

 

You wouldn't get away with that at big time tracks.

 

I can usually get a few runs in with my beater. But my beater runs low 10's. What I usually do is shut it down at the 1/8 so I don't break out. But on the last run or so I go all out and then I can't run any more. But on my eg hatch I just have a 8 point cage, fuel cell/lines and racing gear and they don't seem to mind me running well into the 9's.
