Undo Integra Front end Conversion on 00 Civic Si
Hello I am new here and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. I bought a 2000 Civic Si with an Integra front end conversion already on. My question is what parts would I need to change it back? Would I need just the front end or would I have to replace the hood, fenders and front end? I just want to know if it would be worth the time and money to do this. Here is a picture so you know what I am talking about:

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

yeah you're gonna have to have fenders, a hood, bumper and the grille. and im pretty sure on front end conversions, some of the frame has to be tampered with to make the teg stuff fit. i personally would just leave it the way it is because its gonna be a pain in the *** finding all the civic parts, painting them, remounting them etc. in the long run its not really worth the hassle.
LOL that is not good. Thanks for the info though. I think I might try and find another front end that fits an integra then.
Damn thats horrible. Take off the integra front end and put it on ebay or craiglist. Then when you collect that cash by a 96-00 civic front end, it shouldn't cost you too much. The original holes for the civic should still be there.
^^^+1^^^ I'm pretty sure you gotta change the radiator support. If you don't know how to weld it's going to cost you a bit to have a shop remove the integra support and install the civic support.

Yeah I just looked at a JDM integra front end conversion kit that included front end, fenders, hood, and frame support for 900 dollars. Like you said though, I don't have access to a welder and that would be expensive at a shop. So you guys think I should just leave it then?
Sell all of your parts. Then you can piece together, or get something like this...

As others have mentioned, you'll probably need a 99-00 civic radiator support as well. Take it to a collision center/body shop. They'll be able to source one and install it for you. Don't forget the paint, nuts, bolts, and washers...the little things. De-rice that beauty and keep us updated on your progress!

you can get both new fenders for about 100, a new bumper for 100 , then 120 for a hood and find some used headlights for 50ish and your all set then you just need to get it painted (ebay prices btw)
you'll need the following.
2 Fenders Stock
1 bumper
1 hood
1 pair of headlights
1 RADIATOR Support.
Once you align the radiator support and weld it back on you should be fine. Everything will bolt up like before. Oh man that conversion looks terrible, sorry to see this. But at least your resorting back to the stock frontend.

either way its gonna be a hassle... I saw a car just like this one yesterday in modesto, ca
oh and i'm sure you can about 300.00 for that frontend conversion as is.... the fenders are already cut and welded to except the conversion, just take care of the integra radiator support when your undo everything. This should offset the cost of a new frontend.
I agree. Sell all of your parts as a whole. Do not part it out as it could get difficult to sell individual pieces.
Sell your current hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, core support as an "Integra conversion for 96-00 Civic".
If you want your Si to look like an Si again you're going to want the following:
- Any '99-'00 Civic core support
- Any '99-'00 Civic headlights
- Any '99-'00 Civic front bumper
- Any '99-'00 Civic hood
- Any '99-'00 Civic fenders
- '99-'00 Si or Type R grille (other '99-'00 grilles fit btw)
- '99-'00 Si/Type R front lip (this isn't needed to reassemble the front end and is a purely cosmetic piece)
Try car-part.com and maybe you can find a complete front end in a local yard. Shop around. Don't buy the first one you find unless it's an awesome deal.

If he can get the stock front end back together and set the Integra front aside for awhile I'm sure he can get more than $300 for it. Though we might not like this front end, a lot of other people will.
looks to me like they just cut fenders from a civ and teg and welded them together... its not that big a deal to swap everything back.. some people just dont like to do any work..
Well thanks for all the information. I am definitely going to start getting the parts together once I get an alarm on it. I don't want it to get stolen before I can do any work on it. I'll make sure to keep you updated and post pictures once I get the parts!
