ok i have a 93 DA, pretty stock motor. was running super rich smoking blue, then it ran good for a day, now it is running rich again, wont rev past 3000, tons of blue smoke and gas smell

ive tried,
different injectors
different gas
changed the fuel pressure regulator (had an aftermarket one)
checked most of the sensors to make sure they are good map sensor etc.

throwing cel 16, not sure if thats because its missing or what

Blue smoke is not fuel, it's oil.

cel code 16 is fuel injector.
what i'd do is start the car. hop outside and pull each spark plug wire one by one until you find which cylinder is missing (whichever cylinders plug you pull that doesn't make a difference in running condition)
then, check for injector pulse at that cylinder

If ur blowing blue smoke and smelling fuel, u got 2 problems.

 

im just smelling fuel.

where do igo now?

i replaced fuel filter, replaced oil and cap and did tune up rotor plugs etc

shouldnt need to change wires cause their 2 year old ngks but only ran on them a year.

any ideas?

figured it out... bad ecu... put in a p28 virgin and it ran fine

 

yes. because the injectors ground through the pcm
