D16z6 died last night. Is there any hope??
Last night my car started smoking like crazy and shaking. Mostly black smoke. I got it towed home and checked it out. Seems like there is unburnt gas comming out of my exhaust manifold. Can't figure out what it can be. Blown piston or something? Can anybody help?

Could be alot of things. Pull the plugs and check all of them. Did you get a CEL? If so did you run the codes?

yeah...black smoke means you are running rich, blue smoke means you are burning oil...so its definitely a fuel problem...check the entire fuel system, fuel line, rail, filter, injectors, and see if you can visually detect a problem. Otherwise, you might need to take off your head to see if there is a hole and somehow extra fuel is getting in

ok, I checked it out. Fuel injector #4 doesn't stop feeding gas. The injector works fine, I was able to shut it off. But when I plug back it still feeds gas. So i'm thinking it's a computer problem.

Could just be a stuck injector. Do you know of anyone with some spare injectors you could try out?

when I disconnect everything that goes to the injectors, it shut off. So i'm guessing it works fine.

My POS is still not working. I changed the ECU and thats not it. I have no spark. And injector is still open. This is discourageing

i'm gonna change the injector tomorrow.
My cel code was 0 = ECU. But its maybe beacause im not getting a spark.
Now i have 2 problems, no spark and messed up injector
