oil pump remove on 93 teg b18
hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the oil pump on a 93 integra b18 motor. i got the pan off, oil pickup, timing belt and all the bolts for the pump. the problem is it wont slide over the crank sprocket that the timing belt goes on. do u have to remove the sprocket and if so how? thanks
the crank sprocket should just slide straight forward. there is a keyway which keeps the sprocket aligned on the snout. make sure not to lose that. once that's off, pan is off, unbolt the oil pump cover. the pump should all slide forward. inner and outer gear
Yea I got the crank pulley off with the key way but I'm talkin bout the sprocket that the timing belt goes over. I'm bout to heat
it up n see if it will slide of the crank but I don't wanna damage anything.

hmmm. strange. it should just slide forward relatively easily.
try getting behind it with a pair of pry bars. one of them at 3 o'clock and one at 9 o'clock. or wherever. 180 degrees apart, placing even pressure
