oil pump removel help
i need a diagram on how to remove the oil pump from my ls/vtec. every thimg is out except the pully any help would be appriciated . thaks

well you have to take the pulley's off (timing and crank), and oil pan, and anything else in the way. then all you do is remove the bolts holding it on and use a rubber mallet to tap it off (hondabond holds it tight)

thanks. I removed the big pully i need to know how to remove the small pully the one that drives the timing belt. do i need a pully puller?

well i have never had to use a pulley tool...mine always just came off with a little coaxing ...pulling evenly on both sides. just make sure you use the right tool for the right job. if it doesnt just come off, go rent a pulley tool.

the one that im having a hard time with is the one that drives the timing belt. its on there preaty good.
