Icon7 B18C JRSC S300 Launch Control

Almost finished installing the lht intercooler setup in the 91 reX, will post photos soon!

But as far as launch control, what am I looking at as far as timing and fuel for launch control.

I'm going to have to say leave timing at 0* since it's a non-turbocharged application. It's a obd-1 JDM GSR, 10 psi, RC440's, LHT intercooler, Type R exhaust cam 2* adv, Hondata S300, full skunk 2 megapower exhaust, Vibrant 4-1 header, and a 70mm LHT throttle body + more that i dont think is relevent for specs.

Did a little reading, said to set MPH to 6 mph, people said it launches better.

I know I have to play around and see what works best, but I would like a little direction on where to start as far as settings!

Anything will help!

Has your current setup been tuned at all and maximized for fuel and ignition and proper vtec crossover? What is your intercooler being used for if it's a non-turbo app? The main reason is on the track, you set your launch limiter about 80% of your redline or where your peak torque is (with slicks only).

However, without slicks, you will definitely have to play around with the settings and get used to launching it properly without much spin

FYI: The lht intercooler is built into the intake manifold on JRSC setups...

To start, just set it around 6-10mph and see how well it works for you... if you are hitting the launch limit after you get traction, then set it higher..

Car is running 8" wide Toyota R1R semi slicks, I'll give the higher MPH a shot this weekend! Car is on a basemap right now with a little modification to the tune to be safe. Car is going to be tuned professionally on a dyno, At Evans, since I'm from pa!

Thank you for your help, I'll keep you posted.

If slicks, the closer to peak power you set it, the harder you will launch. Good to know evans is tuning it
