Default is 1/4" diameter too big...

for an oil feed line to the turbo? i've done search and it mentioned -3an or -4an but they use inches from where i live.

1/4" is the same as -4 AN. I used a -4 but it was too big and had to switch to a -3. 3/16" is equal to a -3.

1/4 will work just fine, we use it on almost all of our projects, any bigger you will more than likly have problems.

FYI to find the equivalent -an size you put the number in front of the an over 16 to find inches.
i.e.

-3an = 3/16
-4an= 4/16=1/4
-6an= 6/16=3/8

and so on

awesome. i looked all over and couldnt find the definition of -?AN fittings. thanks.

Good info! I am going to wield the end of my -4an to 1/8 npt adapter that screws into my turbo and drill the hole to 3/16" so I don't have to buy new earls -3 lines and crap.
