Koni w/ Ground vs Megan Street Series
i got a 97 civic hatch and i was about to purchase my koni yellows w/ ground control coilovers but i came across these megan street series set-up and i have also heard some good things about them.
i mostly use my car for DD and also plan to do auto-x in july. so now im stuck to which one i should get. i cant decide which has better quality n last me the longest. Unless you know of another set-up i can go with that is under 1 grand, that i can use for DD and auto-x
Should i go with the Koni set-up or Megan?

Both Koni & Ground Control are quality suspension components that I have used and abused for years on my last two Honda Civics.

It sounds to me like they just don't know anything about suspension. You can't be a well informed car enthusiast and not know that koni/ground control is one of the best suspension setups out there for the money.

They don't need to.
Actually, normally when they're in here they offer only technical advice and steer away from promoting their own product as it comes across as pre-meditated. (for lack of a better word)
You fit in just fine, just avoid tooting your own horn so much. It doesn't mesh well with the qualities of a reputable company. Offering your own products as a solution comes across as self-interested as opposed to someone trying to help the other person out.
"Oh, I see your problem. All you need to remedy that is to buy my product."

It just doesn't sit well with most people.
I recently picked up AMR's for my EK, I will be installing them this week so I'll let you know how they ride. I was going to go with the Koni/GC, however I ended up with AMR's. I am sure I made a pretty good choice.
I have them and they took the place of my Koni yellow/skunk2 set up. They ride good for 12k fr/10K rr. If you aren't gonna run anything more aggressive than 550lbs than you might as well stay with Koni yellows. My shocks that AMR built actually are made to handle up to 16k but I asked Andy if I could run 10K safely and he said no problem.
