Default car wont start

Well we just got done putting a new turbo in my buddys car. We got a new starter on it car started twice then went to try and start and it didn't start. Check the fuse changed the postive wire. Now can't figure out what the problem is.

Starter doesn't crank, right? Is the battery dead?

Check grounds, espcially on the transmission and thermostat.

Check the ground to the tranny... Might be loose or unbolted and you can't see it do it IC piping.

Don't assume that the battery is "fine" just because you got it charged at some point in the past. You'll need to measure the battery voltage when the ignition is at "off", "on", and "start" to provide more information about the status of the battery.

Please describe your symptoms in more detail. What happens when you try to start the engine? Does is crank or does it just click?

use a mulutimeter and check for voltage at the "start" wire on the starter. When you turn to start you should get voltage. If not, go from there.

Check the rubber stopper at the top of the clutch pedal.

If it clicks, I would rule out the clutch interlock.

I think that your most likely problem is your battery. Have you tried a jump start? If that doesn't work, try jump starting with your battery disconnected.

If that doesn't work, it's possible that the new starter wasn't installed very well. Double and triple check that install job - any loose wires?

Dude, we gave you a whole bunch of things to check that could possibly be an issue.
Did you check any of them? If you don't add more info, we can't narrow down the list of possible causes.

Please don't bump a thread if you aren't going to do the checks because we won't be able to help. If you can't do the checks - or don't want to, just take it to a mechanic.
