94 si/b20block+gsrhead -- What transmission should I use?

Default 94 si/b20block+gsrhead -- What transmission should I use?

wzup tech-ers! i have a 94 si with a b20block/gsrhead. i have no idea what transmission is on it, but fifth gear pops out after driving like a mile, i'm looking into getting a new one. my question is: what transmission could i mate to this setup?

Any B-series hydraulic transmission would work, but I suggest a GSR or ITR transmission.

Really depends on what you plan on doing with the car and what your budget is.

I'm currently running an LSD GSR tranny on my ITR, which is built for RR!

Either a GSR or a B16 tranny would be best.

I would say GSR tranny... b16 imo suck on the highway...

If your stuck and can only find cable transmissions you could go for a 91 Integra RS Transmission....it has short gears like the GSR trans does but you'll have to get a hydro to cable conversion mount and bracket...I believe hasport and innovative conversion mounts are available.

+1 Agreed. You really need to decide what you want to accomplish with the car.

I have the same engine b20b4 built gsr head and i love my gsr transmission... Go with the gsr !

get a gsr that you can test or one that the seller has proof they had it rebuilt(like me lol) they are getting harder and harder to find these days.
