Default UGH!!!....another d15b/y8 question

OK so im sure some of your have read my previous problems...if not research it haha but anyways...I got the D15b Jdm block and Y8 head...using eveything off my old head, dizzy, intake mani, ect. I get everything together finally yesterday ready for crank and it sounds like its not hitting on a spark. I pull a wire no spark at all. I noticed the Dizzy does have alot of play as far as adjustment and someone told me that the slightest adjustment matters. i smell gas from pumping the pedel making sure it was primed and trying to shove gas through the line. so im stumped i took out the dizzy realigned it. loosened it and rotated it a little one way then a little another. any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you not supposed to be using the Y8 distributor?
