it seems my 2001 civic dx has a vibration or rattle in the 35-45mph area randomly. almost makes a sound like a bad tie rod rattle? Checked all components and they are fine i was wondering what anyones thoughts were. Plugs seem to be real white, but no check engine light on? Misfire possibly? transmission issues? will not make noise when in "D3" only in regular drive..D17A1 with auto.. thanks for your help

 

Tranny problems sometimes won't make the MIL come on. Go down to Autozone and have them scan for tranny codes (it's free). Possible bad tire, bent wheel, or bad wheel bearing.

 

Yeah wheel bearing would my first guess.......rotate your tires as well and see if that helps, would could be horribly out of balance
