Default turbo radiator question

ok guys, my friggin factory rad shat the bed ( 1995 gsr --classic leak @ tanks)

what should i get to replace it?
i'm putting together a custom turbo kit as we speak.
should i go full length teg or stubby civic?
opinions on clearance/ radiator build quality would be appreciated,
as well as any pics. i don't mind fab work, but i'm on vacation so
time is of the essence.
this is a daily driver witha lot of mileage put on (road tripper)

please help.
and please don't waste a "search" on me-- there were 2 current,
10 archived pages.
no real help.

C&R has some nice radiators that come with a slim fan mounted to aluminum brackets welded to the radiator. You could go with either the full int. one or the half civic one and you shouldn't have any problems overheating.

It only uses one fan for the radiator and it's off to the pass. side. Clearance will depend on your turbo and manifold. It is basically the same as your stock radiator w/o the ac fan as far as clearance is concerned.

I installed my C&R last November when I put the snail on my engine. I haven't had any problems and my car runs really cool.

Have C&R too. The fan's case was touching my turbo so I melted it down where it was touching. Only had to melt like 5-7mm deep. I have a drag kit. So far I like the radiator. Should have gotten it sooner. There was no room for my ac line and it rubbed my turbo and it has a hole in it now. No A/C sucks in SoCal. Anyone took out their ac and have the lines around?

I just put in a C&R radiator in my friends EG along w/ a b16a. Very nice radiator and fit perfect. I took some measurements and test fitted it in my car. It should fit nicely and i have no room to spare under the hood. I'll take some pics when I put it in.

Go PWR radiators. Here are pix of the 92-99 Civic radiator at $290 shipped.
If you want the larger 94-99 GSR, it is $335 shipped.

I just put in my C&R (that I bought directly from them for almost $570 oh well) a few weeks ago.

It comes with a nice SPAL slim fan, radiator cap, and drain. Fitment was a breeze and I had no problems with clearance. One of my rubber covered AC lines was kinda hitting the turbo compressor and fan cover, but I just kinda bent it over to the side a little and now it's fine.

The temps are amazing now. My car hasn't seen this low temps in a long time....sucks when you're driving for 5 months on a dying stock radiator that has to be refilled every 10 minutes.

BTW, I have the full length Integra radiator.

I have the PWR in my Civic. It uses the stock fan, or a fan made for a Civic. I'm running a FAL slim fan, and I had to cut some of the fan bracket because the FAL is designed to fit the stock Civic sized inlet and oulet on the stock radiator. The PWR has a B series inlet/outlet, which is a little bigger. The stock fan fit onto the PWR fine, but the FAL was designed with less clearance between its bracket and the inlet/outlet, so the brackets had to be nitched a little. The PWR is a nice unit. I got mine from Mike

There's no way to braze/weld on some metal end tanks? Seems like such a waste of perfectly good radiators when the lame plastic end tanks start leaking. Mine is starting up...

You can use oem or replacement fan. OEM bolts directly to this radiator. No fabrication needed for mounting. Direct bolt in. Good stuff!

The get the Optima to fit you have to trim the excess plastic from the bottom so that the battey looks like a six pack of beer from the bottom. Do NOT trim any plastic from the cylinders. I'll try to post pics later. I had AC but I got tired of it getting in the way so I 86ed my cooler. 3" DP time!! I test fitted my setup with an HKS T300S (T04S/T3) and all I had to do was trim some aluminum from the fan bracket to get the garnantuan compressor housing to fit. T04S and GT30 have the same AR.70 compressor housing.

Hey,
I go the C&R for my Prelude. It is great!

I love my new Rad...It gave me a lot more room in my engine bay.
