The code doesn't tell you anything anyway.
It just tells you the housing number and has nothing to do with the internals (5spd, 4spd, ZC, etc.... all have the same housing.

the complete code wont do much but the first couple of digits will tell you everything you need to know.

J1 - xxxxxxxxx
S1 - xxxxxxxxx
Y1 - xxxxxxxxx

Ah... true.
If it's B series it's a different story.
D series makes little use of the number.

The reason I'm trying to find the code is so I know what kind of clutch to buy. I'm still not to sure where to find the code after looking at the pic but I atleast know to look on the left side lol

How to identify D-series transmissions

Look for stamp mark near axle.
A000 = small bearing case = CX/DX/HX/VX case, bad!
B000 = large bearing case = EX/Si case, GOOD!!!!

B-series Transmissions

It seems like the Y1/S1/J1 use the same 90-91 Integra Cable clutch. The best way to be sure is to count the splines on the Input Shaft

The YS1 is the different one using 92-93 Integra Clutch
