2002 Civic Stereo Unlock Code
I pushed buttons 1 and then, then turned on the radio and got this 8-digit code... " 2803-6216 ". If someone could tell me the code to unlock the radio I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance,
Rob.

That didn't show me anything that I didn't already know, I have the 8 digit code that I need but I need the number code to punch into the radio. Thanks for the info though. If anyone knows the code I need to put into the radio please tell me.

now you are being a tool.
Read the damn thread.. if you dont have the code, you need to go to the dealership with the serial. OR, you can locate a superduper totally awesome secret special sticker somewhere in your car that has the 5 digit code that you are looking for, but guess what, you have to locate it.. thats your job

um if its not in ur service manual, or on a card in ur glovebox, then go to honda dealer.. they just get hte vin of ur car and stuff and they get the code within a minute or so.. then they should give it to you on a card

yeah, what he said. I've been through this several times as well. Just drive down to the dealership service dept with your car, they'll look up the vin and give you the code. It takes a couple minutes and is painless.

my battery just died last week. take the serial number and vin number and call the dealership that you got it from.....give them all the info and they give it to ya. you shouldn't have to go in......actually the guy was a little irritated because i dont think the average joe is supposed to know that little trick by holding down the one and six....
