I would stay away from air cylinders at all cost. They have HORRIBLE ride quality and they tend to leak after a short period of time.

Air Struts are the best.

if you run quality cylinders and install them properly, they'll last forever.

problem is, nobody ever installs them correctly, so they end up leaking at the seals.

my 3rd gen prelude was on cans, and ride was excellent at all heights unless it was locked up (which was taller than stock). those cans are on their third car now, and they still perform excellently.

the only cans i would run are from SMC. any of the cans from AIM or MIC (at least, what they used to sell) are too poorly constructed to use on a daily driven car.

but, just like any other airride suspension. INSTALL is the most important part. and i don't think i've seen half a dozen properly installed airride kits on hondas in my life.

airstruts have their place, and they are better than they used to be, but i still don't trust a rubber bag in the environment of a honda front suspension.

Keep in mind that alignment changes with EVERY ride height change.

So unless you plan on aligning the car weekly, don't go around changing the ride height weekly unless you want your tire wear to suck donkey *****.
