Hey guys,
The R has an external msd ss blaster that is run to the dizzy inside the cap.
I decided to remove it and replace it with a new dizzy just because.
When I installed the new dizzy, the car doesn't even attempt to start. I tried another dizzy off another R of mine and that did the same thing.
I then re-installed the original dizzy w/ the external blaster and the car started right up.
With the new dizzy, the car doesn't even attempt to start at all.
It does have an alarm on the car but I"m not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Also, I did not see the MSD box anywhere in the car.
Suggestions?

So did the car crank when you installed a factory dizzy or just nothing?
If the car did crank, did you verify firing order and check to see if you had spark on all cylinders?
Just a couple thoughts

Im stumped on this one, just make sure the wires going to the dizzy to the engine harness match up
Very weird issue.. but its good your getting rid of that msd coil.. had the same one a few times in previous builds and found that its problematic .. definitely better off with stock ignition .. good luck hope you get it figured out
the blaster is just the coil. another dizzy should work properly.
i give you ignition help.
