What do you guys think of this new diffuser, simple and subtle?
I love it and keeps the clean lines of the s2000

Very lightweight and simple bolt-on with no dis-assembly or jacking up the car either

thanks for inputs good and bad, always like to hear both sides.
I have to say that 95% of the stuff we put on cars are useless but we still do it because in the end it's all about how it looks and personalization

This particular diffuser really serves no point.
The only one that seems to do its job is the Voltex, but then again, thats gonna empty your pockets pretty quick.

well, i'm sure all of us would like to think that we only have things that improve the performance of our cars, but in my experience those guys are called hardcore track guys.
truth is, we all have mods on our cars that serve no purpose: red Hs, "cooling plates", diffusers, spoon hardtops, strut tower bars, mesh shift boots from the nsx, carbon fiber valve covers, carbon hoods that weigh more than the stock hood, ap1 to ap2 bumper conversions, etc. but luckily, we only have to answer to ourselves about OUR cars.
so, s4play, where can i find one of these diffusers? i like it.

I think he means pointless because most of us are not tracking our cars. Everything i put on is for sound/looks. My car only leaves the garage to be driven on city roads which I can not perform on, even if my modifications help performance. I understand that my ricecar is not a racecar
I dont mind it, but, it's maybe a bit too subtle. Not sure if anyone would notice unless you pointed it out. It's an improvement though, overall, thumbs up!
LOL thank you for your educated input!
I never said it serves any purpose and neither does my full suede interior or iPad install - just because I can do it and I want to.
NurSpec32: thanks man - my mods are for myself and only myself

putting race-inspired parts on a car that'll never be raced is called what...
[hint: "poseur", "rice", "douchy", "poofter", etc]
It's the same as putting a Ferrari badge on your car.

oi! thats not a diffuser this is a diffuser

not the worst thing I've seen on an s2000 but you have to pay money to tape it onto your car which is what it looks like a piece taped onto the car
kinds looks like you could groom snow on a mountain with it or something. It may actually cause turbulence at the rear and reduce the scavenging effect on the exhaust as well.

Not really my style but it looks fine to me not really sure what every one is complaining about. It pretty much looks like a factory 06-07 STI rear diffuser, I put one on my wifes 06 WRX wagon, subtle but nice.
