Yeah, kinda pointless. A giant gawdy spoiler would probably do more, but hey it's your money, so I won't lose sleep on it. If you like it, it's your car.

Just please for all that's holy, don't put a gawdy spoiler on it.

OP that diffusers not my style but it works for you, I always liked this diffuser...

 

We took the car to a local meet and the overall response was very positive. In the end it's all about what you want. Once we get the supercharger on the car it should be making about 380hp so perhaps I can use the benefits of this diffuser...haha jk




JUSTINTHECOASTI: thanks for the post! Call me an artist but I must have proportions and I seriously dunno why people would run a diffuser with one big gaping hole missing an exhaust!!! That is so ugly, sorry.

The diffuser looks good if your car is heavily modded with wide-body fenders, race spoiler, etc but my car is certainly not a race car and as a DD, those rear diffuser are too much. Plus the fitment around those oval exhaust tips just looks off to me.

 

Wow - the 2 don't even compare - Justinthecoasti, they look like cheap pieces of ill fitting plastic hanging off the back. s4play's just flows with the car - like it could have been stock.

 

Like some else said eariler looks vs if it's fuctional

 

This. The number one reason why i personally would not run single exit exhausts.

 

I was only showing the diffuser, single or dual exhuast is owner's preferrence

i dunno about really calling that a diffuser, coming from 10 years tracking in various classes, i would say that's more of a cosmetic part that would make it look like a diffuser..

kinda just a plastic thing on your car that does nothing... but whatever floats your boat

 

I don't think it's big enough to float a boat on.

 

As I stated in the first post, this is merely for cosmetics. Calling it a diffuser is exactly what it looks like. As for functionality I'll let people decide for themselves.

IMO a lot of those crazy / tackly body kits are the market are not proven either, just looks good but they still call them spoilers, diffusers or whatever they want. Just a name


Many people who see my car think this rear diffuser comes standard on the CR edition and mine is not a CR or special edition. But put it up against any other s2000 and few will say it's not clean, that's all I am after as this is my DD
