Hey guys, i did the valve cover gasket over the weekend and i got home and noticed a small leak on the floor of a dark brown liquid. Open the hood and theres a leak right under the valve cover gasket, not from it but under it. So i thought i could have put the gasket wrong in the section that goes over the cam gears, so took it off, inspected it and reinstalled it. Since i was there i noticed my PS pump all dirty and it looked like it was leaking so i removed it completely. Now my question is, do these pumps leak like this when theyre about to die? Or has this happened to anyone? I figure the leak came from the pump since it was wet all around it, i dont see where it could be leaking from the engine so ifigure its this. I drove it work and didnt leak but ill check it before and after i get home tonite.

i still have a leak, apparently it wasnt the pump, any ideas?
