water leak

I have a 2000 civic hatch dx, and every time it rains I get water down in my spare tire compartment... any ideas on what that could be?

Are there any rain gutters that pass through the trunk? Are all the seals fine on the trunk?

from what ive heard its the tail light gaskets that leak water into the trunk

I ve checked the seals around the hatch itself and they appear to be intact...

The tail light gaskets sounds reasonable. Take them off and check, they are always getting brittle and crack into pieces.
