Does anyone know if dizzy king is out of business?
When I pulled the spark plug wires off the dizzy, the cap broke. I ordered a Honda (OEM) cap thinking it would fit, but it doesn't.
I'm in a real bind here with him, does anyone know what cap I can get that'll fit? I'd like very much not to drop a ton of money for a new distributor.

O'reilly's is a car part shop I assume like Autozone or something? I don't have one near me, but I can stop by another car parts store and grab an LS rotor and Cap.
I hadn't thought about the rotor...good call.

Toots... you prolly do not have an ITR dizzy and most likely a B16 one. Those dizzy caps are smaller than the P73 specific cap. I would get a b16 cap if I were you

but napa carquest autozone etc places ya
b16 99 si cap number,
P# 30102-P54-006 is same P# as a LS like I said lol
the king for whatever reason decided to use the ls cap and rotor. you could probably find a ton of hits in google for this very thing. personally, i don't think their distributors are oem quality but they work in a pinch if you're piecing together an engine. 9 out of 10 times the only thing that dies in an oem unit is the coil

P73 rotor has woven frp (fiberglass) shielding on the top and bottom of the rotor were it contacts the points. Probably keeps the spark from jumping to the wrong point with higher compression or rpm.
