Alright guys, so I finally got to start my sol today and was hoping to drive it...BUT.. it randomly died after idling fine for about 5 minutes. The tank was on E and it sat for 6 months in my garage so I'm thinking I must have gummed up my fuel filter or the pump. It's a del sol with a b16 and I live in the frigid midwest if that makes a difference..

I still hear my walbro wining when it primes up every time I turn the ignition on, so the pump seems to be working fine, my guess is the fuel filter is clogged... My dad took me to get a gas can and a can of HEET and we put that **** in and it still won't start, cranks all day but won't pop or anything... Any ideas guys?

I WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR SOOOOO BAD!!! Help me so I can get this taken care of. Its been over 6 months since I've driven her Worst off is since I'm up at school I have like ZERO tools here, so I'm hoping to gather some input and tell my dad what tools to bring up here.

I think I could cry right now.. I went from giddy like a school girl to drive my sol again after 6 months to completely pissed off/depressed. Ugh fml

 

Grab yourself a seafoam bottle and look up on the places to put it. Get yourself a fuel filter and go to town. You should feel even that much happier when u fix her.
